The Cades Cove picnic area is one of the most popular picnic grounds in the Park. Located at the entrance to the Cove Loop Road, this picnic area has quite a few picnic tables, some handicapped accessible. Some picnic tables are situated along the river, offering a wonderfully relaxing day in the mountains.

This picnic area has potable water and restroom facilities with flush toilets.
