Collins Creek Picnic Area

The Collins Creek picnic pavilion is located approximately 8 miles north of Cherokee, North Carolina on Newfound Gap Road between Cherokee and Gatlinburg. There are 15 picnic tables and a 23' x 50' picnic pavilion with a capacity of about 70 people. 4 elevated grills (14" x 22") are just outside the pavilion. There is no telephone or electricity at the site. This site is handicapped accessible, but the restrooms are not. The two rental periods are 8 AM - 3:30 PM and 4 - 8 PM. You may reserve both periods if you want to stay the entire day.
